New River Art ’91 was supported by and displayed at the Fine Arts Center of the New River Valley, Pulaski, VA. Other supporters included the Blacksburg Regional Art Association, the New River Arts Council, Christiansburg, Council for Community Enrichment, Radford, and the Virginia Museum for the Arts, Richmond. Jennifer C. Jordan produced the winning design in a graphic design competition of the Virginia Tech Department of Art and Art History. The 1991 juror, Julia W. Boyd, Associate Curator of 20th Century Art, Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, Richmond, VA, selected the 45 hanging Art works.
